Five members of a local Communist Terrorist Group (CTG) voluntarily surrendered to the Philippine National Police (PNP) at 5:50 pm on January 4, 2026 at the headquarters of the 1003rd Maneuver Company, Regional Mobile Force Battalion 10 (RMFB 10) in Barangay Halapitan, San Fernando, Bukidnon, signaling a continued shift toward peace and reintegration. The surrender, facilitated by multiple PNP units, involved individuals aged 18 to 35 who turned over various firearms and ammunition. The former CTG members are now being processed under the Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP).

The surrenderers were identified as:

  • Jeffery (real name withheld), Team Leader, GF Malayag, SRC 2, NCMRC, who yielded one (1) Cal. 45 pistol with magazine and seven (7) live ammunitions (PSR Listed, March 2020);
  • Jestony (real name withheld), Supply Officer, GF55, SRGU, SRC, SMRC, who surrendered one (1) homemade Cal. .38 revolver pistol with four (4) live ammunitions;
  • Jorge (real name withheld), Supply Officer, GF55, SRGU, SRC, SMRC, who turned over one (1) homemade shotgun with six (6) 12-gauge shot shells;
  • Bruno (real name withheld), Supply Officer, GF55, SRGU, SRC, SMRC, who surrendered one (1) homemade Cal. .22 revolver pistol with two (2) live ammunitions; and
  • Tarsilo (real name withheld), Squad Leader, GF55, SRGU, SRC, SMRC, who yielded one (1) homemade shotgun with five (5) 12-gauge shot shells.

The surrenderees are now under the custody of intelligence operatives of the 1003rd Maneuver Company, RMFB 10, for custodial debriefing and profiling, while the firearms have been temporarily secured by the unit’s Supply Office.
