The driver of a fuel tanker truck who rammed six vehicles while they were stopped at a traffic light in Baliwagan, Balingasag, Misamis Oriental on Tuesday night has been detained by police and charged with reckless imprudence resulting in multiple physical injuries and damage to property. The tanker driver admitted to investigators that he fell asleep at the wheel, causing the collision. The vehicles involved were an RTMI Bus (Balingoan Liner), Toyota Yaris Cross, Toyota Vios, Toyota Rush, Suzuki Dzire, and a Skygo 150 motorcycle. Authorities reported that at least 25 individuals were injured in the incident.
