Filipino nurse Ruby Renconada Soriano, originally from Cagayan de Oro City and now based in Jacksonville, Florida, has been awarded the 2025 Freddie Webster RN Award for Nursing Excellence, a notable recognition given by WeCareJax, a nonprofit network of healthcare professionals, volunteers, and health systems in Jacksonville. As an oncology nurse navigator at the Mayo Clinic’s Jacoby Breast Center, she was honored for her compassion, leadership, and dedication to supporting cancer patients throughout their treatment. With more than a decade of experience, she has helped strengthen patient-centered care and elevate healthcare quality.
