A team of the Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) unit of Cagayan de Oro’s City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Department (CDRRMD) – Oro Rescue 911 successfully captured a reticulated python at a house along Gumamela Street in Carmen today, November 1, after being spotted and reported by a resident. The snake was safely turned over to the DENR for proper care. Authorities urge the public to call 911 when encountering snakes or other dangerous animals.
