The Land Transportation Office (LTO) Region 10 has issued a show cause order to the motorcycle driver involved in a viral road rage incident that occurred on October 15, 2025, along Masterson Avenue, Upper Carmen in Cagayan de Oro City. In the video, the driver was seen retrieving a knife from his motorcycle’s utility compartment and using it to threaten another motorist during a road altercation.
The motorcycle driver has been summoned to appear before LTO Region 10 to explain why his driver’s license should not be suspended or revoked in connection with the road rage incident. Meanwhile, the motorcycle used in the incident has been placed under alarm.
LTO Region 10 under the Leadership of Regional Director Nelson S. Manaloto, emphasizes to all motorist that staying calm and maintaining composure during road related incidents must be observed at all times and to refrain from showing force or violence during a heated argument. The office reminds all road users to prioritize ROAD SAFETY and observe land transportation laws and regulations.
