Rey Nambatac shines in comeback as TNT Tropang 5G dominates Phoenix Super LPG

Cagayan de Oro’s Rey Nambatac led TNT Tropang 5G to a convincing 93–78 win over Phoenix Super LPG in the PBA Season 50 Philippine Cup at the Ynares Center in Montalban on Friday night, October 10. Coming off a groin injury that sidelined him for most of the previous conference, Nambatac made a strong comeback with 22 points on 9-of-14 shooting, including two three-pointers, while adding five rebounds, three assists, and a steal to earn Best Player of the Game honors.

Meanwhile, fellow Kagay-anon Jio Jalalon also played his first game with TNT, scoring 4 points, grabbing 7 rebounds and dishing out 2 assists.
