Several people were injured after a minibus carrying members and officers of the Cavitrampsco Cooperative overturned at Sitio Alubijid, Poblacion Uno, Villanueva, Misamis Oriental, around 12:45 p.m. on Saturday, October 11, 2025. The group had just come from an outreach activity in Barangay Kimaya when the vehicle, reportedly speeding on a downhill curve, lost control, hit a motorcycle carrying a couple, and nearly plunged into a ravine—but was stopped by several large posts. Responders from the MDRRMO V-Alert Team, Bureau of Fire Protection, and PNP Villanueva quickly arrived at the scene, preventing further tragedy. Fortunately, no fatalities were reported, and authorities are now investigating the incident.
