Youth leadership shines in Northern Mindanao! The Local Youth Development Offices (LYDO) of Cagayan de Oro, Iligan, and Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental have been named National Finalists for the 2025 Outstanding LYDO Award. CDO and Iligan were cited under Highly Urbanized Cities, while Tagoloan was recognized under Component Cities and Municipalities. The Outstanding LYDO Award is the highest national recognition given to Local Youth Development Offices that champion innovative, inclusive, and youth-centered governance. The grand finals will be held during the Philippine Sangguniang Kabataan Awards 2025 on October 24–27 at Novotel Manila Araneta City.
