The Municipality of Libona in Bukidnon has inaugurated Libona Café – its new Pasalubong Center on September 25, 2025, located right across the Municipal Hall. The center serves as a fresh hub showcasing local products, culture, and traditions, and was launched as one of the highlights of the town’s 68th Founding Anniversary.

Backed by the local government, the project was made possible through the strong support of the Sangguniang Bayan, whose members emphasized that the initiative is a product of unity and collaboration. The event was attended by Congressman Jose Manuel Alba, Mayor Aurelio Lopez, Vice Mayor Noel “Tawing” Woo, local government employees, and barangay officials.

Inside the Pasalubong Center, visitors can find a variety of homegrown products from Libona—such as rice cakes like puto, native delicacies, souvenir items, keychains, and the town’s pride, locally grown coffee.

The center is envisioned as a bridge between tradition and progress, with every product carrying a story of the community’s heritage and identity. More than just a showcase, it aims to create greater opportunities for Libona’s entrepreneurs while inviting visitors to experience the richness of local culture and craftsmanship.
