The Philippine Navy will soon establish a new naval base and dockyard at the Phividec Industrial Estate in Misamis Oriental, on the site of the aborted Korean shipyard project. Envisioned as the Navy’s main hub for Northern Mindanao and the Visayas, the project is included in the 2026 budget with land titling and initial works set to begin soon. Defense Secretary Gilberto Teodoro Jr. said the new base is necessary as Sangley Point in Cavite is too shallow to accommodate the Navy’s modern vessels.

So, are we now a target of Chinese Hypersonic Ballistic Missiles besides the Lumbia Airport?

But if it is only to establish a steategic defense infrastructure but have a President that believes in alliances with neighbors I dont think we are a useless target by hostile countries.
