Over a thousand athletes, coaches, and support-delegates from eleven Jesuit schools across the country have arrived in Cagayan de Oro City for the Jesuit Athletic Meet (JAM) 2025. Welcomed at the airport, seaport, and bus terminals, the delegates are now gathered at the Xavier Ateneo Basic Education Campus in Pueblo de Oro for a week-long celebration of sportsmanship and Ignatian excellence. Games start today, September 23. Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam!
The 11 Jesuit schools participating are:
- Ateneo de Manila University – Quezon City
- Ateneo de Naga University – Naga City
- Ateneo de Davao University – Davao City
- Ateneo de Zamboanga University – Zamboanga City
- Xavier University – Ateneo de Cagayan – Cagayan de Oro City
- Xavier School – San Juan – Greenhills, San Juan City
- Xavier School – Nuvali – Nuvali, Laguna
- Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu – Mandaue City
- Ateneo de Iloilo – Santa Maria Catholic School – Iloilo City
- Loyola College of Culion – Culion, Palawan
- Pangantucan Community HIgh School – Pangantucan, Bukidnon
The games include: Athletics, Badminton, Basketball (5×5), Basketball (3×3), Chess, Football, Futsal, Swimming, Table Tennis, and Volleyball. Here is the full schedule.
