Two separate footages—a CCTV and a dashcam—captured the collision between two speeding motorcycle riders and a pick-up truck exiting Dahlia Street onto Vamenta Boulevard in Carmen, Cagayan de Oro City on Sunday, September 14. One rider was thrown off his motorcycle while the other landed on the truck’s side and hood, but fortunately, neither sustained serious injuries. The videos, which have since gone viral, show the riders apparently racing with a third companion who managed to avoid the crash. Netizens criticized the two as “camote riders” for recklessly speeding into an intersection with a clear queue of vehicles crossing into Vamenta Boulevard.
