The ₱49.9-million 2-kilometer Sipaka Heights Zipline Project has not been abandoned, contractor Jejor’s Construction Corp. clarified in a local radio interview. The firm explained that while the project was originally targeted for completion in February 2025, it was suspended in June due to technical issues and later granted a time extension in August. Despite billing the Misamis Oriental provincial government in March this year, the contractor has yet to receive any payment. Even so, the project is already 65% complete, with major works finished at Point A in Sipaka Heights. With a new order to resume work at Point B, the company expects to complete the project before the end of 2025, provided no further delays occur.
