The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) led by Senior Undersecretary Emil K. Sadain and the Local Government Units (LGU) of Tangub City and Tubod inspected the Panguil Bay Bridge on September 6, 2025, following its recent end-to-end asphalt pavement upgrade to improve safety and durability. Inaugurated in 2024, the 3.17-kilometer bridge has already enhanced regional connectivity and local economies. Mayors Sabiniano Canama of Tangub City and Dionisio Cabahug Jr. of Tubod thanked the national government for its continued support, while the LGUs pledged to help safeguard the bridge through regular monitoring.

The Panguil Bay Bridge features a 320-meter main span supported by two pylons, each with six cable stays, as well as two observatory bays for maintenance. On the Tangub side, a 360-meter approach road connects to a 1,020-meter bridge section; on the Tubod side, a 569-meter approach road leads to a 900-meter bridge section.
