A basketball game on Sunday night, August 31, at the Rety Yacapin Gymnasium in Agusan, Cagayan de Oro City, erupted into chaos after a brawl broke out between players of XU–Iroj Gotohan (white jerseys) and Padayon Yvy (blue jerseys). Stunned spectators watched as punches were thrown before officials and players managed to break it up. The game, which was livestreamed through Facebook, was part of Indigay 2025, a basketball tournament for the Linggo ng Kabataan celebration. Videos of the scuffle have since gone viral online.
