Cagayan de Oro’s Hapsay Sapa Team has been regularly clearing the trash rack along Bitan-ag Creek in Barangay 36, beside Maria Reyna Xavier University Hospital. Each cleanup yields large volumes of garbage washed down from upstream—evidence that, despite constant reminders and past flooding incidents, some residents continue to ignore appeals and dump their waste into the creek.
