Cagayan de Oro 2nd District Rep. Rufus Rodriguez joined Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO) Secretary Dante Francis Ang in inaugurating the CFO Extension Office at the 5th level of SM CDO Downtown on August 8, 2025. The new office makes the CFO’s core services—such as pre-departure orientations, counseling, community linkages, and programs safeguarding the interests, rights, and welfare of Filipinos abroad—more accessible to overseas Kagay-anons and their families. These services cater to emigrants, permanent residents in other countries, and Filipino spouses or partners of foreign nationals. The event was attended by local officials, CFO leaders, and members of the media.
