The first government-initiated underground installation of telecommunication and power lines in Cagayan de Oro City since Misortel in the 1990s will begin at the Department of Health – Regional Office 10 (DOH-10) along Serina Street in Carmen. This pilot implementation was confirmed during a special meeting of Task Force ‘Klarex Nga Serbisyong Kable,’ presided over by NTC-10 Regional Director and task force co-chair Ted Buenavista. The project is set to start on Tuesday, August 12. The project will address the clutter of low-hanging cables obstructing the view of its LED wall, which is used to broadcast important public health advisories.
