Cold Storage Seafood is eyeing Cagayan de Oro for the establishment of a new cold storage facility as part of its aggressive expansion strategy over the next three to five years. Owned by the Qua family, the company has been in operation for 30 years and currently handles an average of 4,800 tons of seafood imports annually—or about 400 tons per month. With its growing operations, the company sees the strategic value of locating a facility near key agricultural production areas.

The planned facility also aligns with Cold Storage Seafood’s broader goal to diversify its offerings by including more meat and vegetable products in its cold chain operations.

Cold Storage Seafood operates refrigerated warehousing facilities in Manila, Cebu and Bacolod. Its products are also available in major supermarkets and groceries.
