A whale shark made a surprise evening appearance near the shores of Duka Bay Resort in Medina, Misamis Oriental, delighting and surprising a visiting tourist. While whale shark sightings are not new in the province, the encounter brought back memories of a similar close-up sighting near Medina Port in 2023. Here’s the video by Donna Pepito-Lim.
