Nearly a year after a taxi fell into an unprotected, unfinished drainage project at the former Maternity Hospital near Cagayan de Oro City Hall, the site remains incomplete and appears to have been abandoned. Despite being a relatively small section, the stalled project has raised concerns among taxpayers, who are now questioning the status of the funding and accountability behind it. In its current state, the site poses a serious safety hazard to both pedestrians and motorists.
