The Commanding General of the Philippine Air Force (PAF), Lieutenant General Arthur M. Cordura, presided over the blessing ceremony of the newly constructed Bachelor Officers’ Quarters 2 and Enlisted Personnel’s Quarters 1 on July 8, 2025, at Lumbia Air Base in Cagayan de Oro City—now the official home of the 590th Air Base Group (ABG). Also present at the event were Brigadier General Gerold N. Gagan, Wing Commander of the 15th Strike Wing, along with officers and enlisted personnel of the 590th ABG and other tenant PAF units stationed at the base.
Hosted by the 590th ABG, the ceremony underscored the spirit of collaboration that drives the Group’s successful relocation and operational readiness. This event highlights the PAF’s ongoing efforts to enhance infrastructure for its personnel, reaffirming its commitment to improving troop facilities as a vital component of sustaining morale, welfare, and mission readiness.
