A new warehouse with modern rice mills and mechanical dryers will soon be built on the 5-hectare lot donated by Central Mindanao University (CMU) in Musuan, Dologon, Maramag, Bukidnon. This was confirmed after a meeting on June 25 between NFA Region 10 Regional Manager Miguel S. Tecson and CMU President Prof. Rodilito F. Eballe, PhD. The site already has an NFA triplex warehouse that can store about 450,000 bags. The new facility, under the government’s Masagana Agri-Food Infrastructure Modernization (MAFIM) program, will help enhance buffer stocking capacity, strengthen regional food security, and enable faster procurement and distribution operations.
