Katrena Marich Guevara thought she was getting an e-bike for her graduation day—but her proud parents had a bigger surprise in store. On June 26, parked outside Xavier University in Cagayan de Oro, she was greeted with a brand-new BYD Seal 5 DM-i wrapped in a ribbon and bearing a custom plate marked “CUM LAUDE.” Katrena, who graduated AB Psychology, cum laude, is also a Sangguniang Kabataan kagawad in Barangay Bugo. Her father, a barangay kagawad as well, helped orchestrate the unforgettable gift.
