Did you know that the ongoing Carmen Steel Bridge Project in Cagayan de Oro, includes a dedicated pedestrian bridge with a bike lane alongside the main structure? This addition to the bridge, also known as Ysalina Bridge, aims to provide a safer and more convenient crossing for both pedestrians and cyclists. Current funding also covers the construction of three additional piers to reinforce the bridge’s structural integrity and the elevation of its freeboard by 1.5 meters to improve clearance and boost flood resilience.
