PSHS-CMC alum makes history at Yale: graduates cum laude with dual degrees in Physics and Mathematics

Filipino student Nathan Wayne F. Ariston, an alumnus of the Philippine Science High School – Central Mindanao Campus (PSHS-CMC) in Balo-i, Lanao del Norte, recently graduated cum laude from the prestigious Yale University with dual degrees in Physics and Mathematics. Ariston made history as the first PSHS-CMC graduate to be admitted to Yale—and he lived up to the distinction. He was also awarded the Howard L. Schultz Prize, for reflecting the qualities of excellence, inventiveness, and good taste in experimental physics characteristic of Professor Schultz. Congratulations!
