Better late than never — around 12,000 origami butterflies were used to create four giant Philippine flags now hanging at the Limketkai Mall Rotunda in Cagayan de Oro City. Originally intended for Independence Day, the stunning display remains up for public viewing. If you haven’t seen it yet, now’s a great time to drop by.

In addition to the origami butterflies, a decorative arch in the colors of the Philippine flag has been installed at the West Concourse near Handyman, where four smaller Philippine flags made entirely of origami butterflies are also on display.
