Italpinas Development Corporation (IDC), through its subsidiary IDC Homes, is set to develop a 9,288-square meter property in Barangay Quezon, Gitagum, Misamis Oriental into a mixed-use condominium project. In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE), IDC’s Board of Directors approved a Joint Venture Agreement (JVA) with Mr. Arsenio B. Manuta for the development. Earlier in February, IDC CEO Architect Romolo V. Nati shared a preview of a scenic, mangrove-lined beachfront in Gitagum—hinting at the potential for a “Primavera by the Beach” concept.

Based on the map of Gitagum, Barangay Quezon has only a small stretch of shoreline. Interestingly, it is home to “Casa Arsenio,” a beach resort with a mangrove-lined coast, as shown below. It’s possible that the owner of this resort is the same individual involved in the joint venture agreement with IDC Homes.
