Cagayan de Oro City Mayor Rolando “Klarex” Uy, along with city and police officials, led the National Flag Day commemoration today, May 28, 2025, at City Hall. A key highlight of the event was the ceremonial burning of worn-out national flags, symbolizing their respectful retirement in accordance with Republic Act No. 8491, also known as the “Flag and Heraldic Code of the Philippines.”
