Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines has climbed five spots in the 2025 Global Startup Ecosystem Index, rising to 693rd globally from 698th in 2024. Despite this improvement, the city dropped one position to 4th among six Philippine cities ranked in the global top 1,000. It recorded an annual startup growth rate of 18.2% with 26 startups in StartUpBlink’s sample database.
