The influential Romualdo family has once again reaffirmed its long-standing dominance in local politics in Camiguin following the results of the 2025 midterm elections. Members of the Romualdo clan won in all major posts in the province, including XJ Romualdo (Governor), JJ Romualdo (Congressman), Dan-dan Romualdo (Vice Governor) and Yggy Romualdo (Mayor of Mambajao), further solidifying their stronghold in the province.
