The handover of Laguindingan International Airport to Aboitiz InfraCapital, Inc. (AIC) is scheduled for April 26, as confirmed by AIC President and CEO Cosette Canilao during a recent online briefing. AIC teams are now actively preparing for the transition, focusing on minimizing disruptions and ensuring seamless operational continuity of the airport. The company aims to transform the airport into a world-class gateway that will drive economic growth and strengthen connectivity across Mindanao.

AIC’s P12.75-billion investment includes renovating and expanding the passenger terminal, installing modern equipment, and enhancing airside and landside facilities, among others. Watch the whole briefing below.
