Xavier University has commissioned Uni Vista Corporation to lead the design development of the upcoming One XUGS Building, which will soon rise at the university’s Pueblo Campus in Uptown Cagayan de Oro. The proposed three-storey structure, with provisions for a fourth level, will house classrooms, laboratories, offices, and a library, designed to support dynamic and modern learning environments. In line with Xavier University’s commitment to sustainability, the building will also incorporate eco-friendly features, including solar rooftop panels and a stormwater catchment system.
The ceremonial signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) took place on March 21, 2025, at the Xavier University Boardroom, with University President Fr. Mars P. Tan, SJ, and Architect Jon Michael Ang representing Uni Vista Corporation. The event marked the formalization of the partnership and a shared commitment to the successful implementation of the project.

The One XUGS building is set to rise on the former site of the Preschool and Kostka buildings at the XU Pueblo Campus. The signing ceremony was attended by representatives from both the Basic and Higher Education units of Xavier University, along with officials from Uni Vista Corporation and key project partners.
