Camiguin’s Carl Niño C. Salait bagged the province’s first gold medal in the ongoing Palarong Pampook 2025 in Misamis Occidental by ruling the 2,000-meter walk. Salait won over two bets from Cagayan de Oro, Lloyd Ivan Mahinay who took silver and Mark Jefferson Laiza who settled for the bronze. Congratulations!
