The remains of Major Jude Salang-oy and 1Lt. April John Dadulla have arrived at Villamor Air Base in Pasay City for a vigil. During the ceremony, Defense Secretary Gilbert Teodoro along with AFP Chief of Staff Gen. Romeo Brawner Jr and Special Assistant to the President Sec. Antonio Lagdameo Jr. posthumously awarded the fallen fighter pilots the Distinguished Aviation Cross, the highest honor for the Air Force. Their remains will be transported to Basa Air Base in Pampanga tomorrow, March 9, for another vigil with the air force community.
