The much anticipated redevelopment of SM City CDO Uptown is expected to finally commence soon, starting with the conversion of the former portion of The SM Store area, that was transferred to the SM Fashion Wing, into a supermarket. The entire supermarket will eventually be relocated to this section. Additionally, the vacant space right across Paik’s Coffee has been enclosed, with sources indicating it will serve as the contractor’s temporary field office during the construction phase.
In fact, the redevelopment is already included in the interactive map found at the mall’s entrances. The SM Store will also be relocated to the existing supermarket area.

Workers onsite revealed this will be temporary field office for the contractor of the SM redevelopment project.
SM City Uptown’s redevelopment is being implemented by phase so as not to disrupt mall operations.
