Cagayan de Oro’s Toyland Bistro and Bukidnon’s High Hoops missed their chance at an all-Northern Mindanao finals showdown after losing in the semifinals of the NBTC Mindanao Regional Finals at the Bayfront Arena in Oroquieta City, today, February 8, 2025. Toyland Bistro fell to defending champion Toyomoto Auto Supply of Davao City, 70-78, while High Hoops was defeated by NDMC Rams of Midsayap, 68-75. Both teams still have a shot at the National Finals through the wild card round. Toyland faces LPU Davao, while High Hoops will go up against AGCCI, also from Davao, for a chance to secure a spot in next month’s national finals.
Toyland earlier beat Brix Athletics of Ozamiz City, 92-87, while High Hoops routed Harbor Pilot of host Oroquieta City, 78-65, in the quarterfinals.
