Xavier University’s Mekan-Eco along with two other student teams will represent the country at the Shell Eco-marathon Asia-Pacific and the Middle East 2025 at the Lusail International Circuit in Doha, Qatar set February 8–12, 2025. The event is an annual energy-efficiency competition where student teams from universities and high schools design, build, and drive ultra-energy-efficient vehicles. The goal is to travel the farthest using the least amount of energy.
