Desiderio “Bong” Apag III, D.Eng, PCpE from Cagayan de Oro City, has been appointed by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. last January 23, 2025 as one of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Commissioners. Prior to his appointment, Apag served as Chief Administrative Officer of CHED-10.
Last Monday, February 3, 2025, he was welcomed by CHED Chairperson J. Prospero “Popoy” de Vera III during its flag ceremony.
