Aligned with their mission to protect and preserve nature including marine life, personnel from the 1st Misamis Oriental Provincial Mobile Force Company, led by PLtCol. Ariel Philip I. Pontillas, participated in an environmental initiative yesterday, January 14, 2025 at Duka Bay Resort in Medina, Misamis Oriental. The team conducted an underwater cleanup and installed artificial reefs to enhance biodiversity. This effort, held as a tribute to Major General Jose Ma. R. Cuerpo, Commander of the 4ID, Philippine Army, concluded successfully at 12:30 PM, contributing positively to the local marine environment.
The event was made possible with the support of PCol. Wilbur M. Salaguste, Provincial Director, in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture of the Local Government of Medina, the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources 10 (BFAR-10), DENR-CENRO Gingoog City, and with the full coordination of Duka Bay Resort management.
