Cathryn Limketkai, granddaughter of Albino and Francesca Limketkai from Cagayan de Oro City, is among 20 athletes set to represent the Philippines at the 2025 Asian Winter Games, scheduled from February 7 to 14, 2025 in Harbin, China. As the reigning Junior Champion of the Philippine Skating Union, Limketkai will compete in the Women’s Figure Skating event. An accomplished international skater, she was part of the U.S. National Development Team in 2020. Most notably, she bagged a silver medal at the prestigious Reykjavik International Games in Iceland last year.

Cathryn recently graduated from Winchester High School and will be pursuing a degree in economics at New York University. She trains at the Skating Club of Boston with coaches Suna Murray and Sergey Minaev.
