Four persons have been confirmed dead, and several others sustained injuries following a collision between a white Toyota Hi-Ace van and an orange Nissan Navara pick-up truck along the National Highway in Mauswagon, Laguindingan, Misamis Oriental on Monday, December 16, 2024. Initial reports revealed the van was en route to Zamboanga del Sur when it swerved into the eastbound lane and collided with the pick-up truck. Emergency responders rushed the victims to OWWA Hospital in Alubijid, Misamis Oriental. Authorities are still investigating the incident.
