Mary Janelle Tan from Jasaan, Misamis Oriental, has secured a bronze medal as part of the Philippine U-11 Girls Chess Team in the rapid event at the 18th Asian Schools Chess Championships, held December 1 to 11, 2024, in Bangkok, Thailand. The tram also includes WNM Millery Gen Subia from Cabanatuan City and Elle Castronuevo from Cavite City. The tournament drew participants from over 40 countries. Congratulations!
