Kent Ivo Salarda from Impasug-ong, Bukidnon scored 19 points and Raul Gentallan from Malaybalay City had an all-around game with 10 points, five rebounds, four assists, one block, and one steal to earn Finals MVP to lift the University of the Visayas (UV) Green Lancers to a 72-55 win over the University of Cebu (UC) Webmasters in Game 2 and a sweep of the best-of-three championship series in the Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc. (CESAFI). It was UV’s 3rd straight title and 16th overall.
UV clinched its 16th CESAFI title with a commanding 72-55 victory in Game 2 on Saturday, December 7, at the Cebu Coliseum. It was a complete contrast of last season’s finals series that concluded in a deciding Game 3.
