Marvin Tabamo of Balingasag, Misamis Oriental secured a thrilling victory in Friday’s quarterfinal bout at the ASBC Elite Men & Women Boxing Championships 2024 in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Tabamo defeated China’s Wang Xiangkun with a 4-1 split decision, for a spot in the semifinals and assured himself at least a bronze medal in the tournament.
