Philippine flyweight Marvin Tabamo of Balingasag, Misamis Oriental has advanced to the quarterfinals at the ASBC Elite Men and Women Championships 2024 in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Tabamo beat Ukraine’s Siyovush Mukhammadiyev via 5-0 unanimous decision in the preliminary round of the men’s 51kg class. He will next fight China’s Wang Xiangkun.
