mirage lyrics
I’ve been walking for miles
in red ballet flats
But love’s a mirage
I’ll leave it at that
I can’t call you mine
You won’t call me back
You won’t call me back
You won’t call me
I could be all yours
even just for the night
Would you make me feel good?
Would you make it alright?
The longer I stay
I fear I just might
I fear I just might
Run back to you
‘Cause I fall to pieces
when I hear your name
Love me or not
you treat me the same
Stuck in my solitude
Here I remain
I’m still lost in your game
Nothing else can be done
as the waves hit the shore
And I feel like a fool
always asking for more
Boy you’re so pretty
You’re hard to ignore
You’re hard to ignore
When I’m growing wings
‘Cause I fall to pieces
when I hear your name
Love me or not
you treat me the same
Stuck in my solitude
Here I remain
I’m still lost in your game
As my mascara runs
I rush down the hall
After all that’s been said
now my back’s to the wall
And I’m so fragile
You say it’s my fault
You say it’s my fault
Just leave me here
‘Cause I fall to pieces
when I hear your name
Love me or not
you treat me the same
Stuck in my solitude
Here I remain
I’m still lost in your game
Blue dreams
Fading
Endlessly
Strange scenes
Follow
Now I’m free
I’m free
I fall to pieces
I fall from the sky
I found what peace is
And it’s in your eyes
‘Cause I fall to pieces
when I hear your name
Love me or not
you treat me the same
Stuck in my solitude
Here I remain
I’m still lost in you
I fall to pieces
when I hear your name
Love me or not
I’ll take the blame
Stuck in my solitude
