The Province of Misamis Occidental has seen a remarkable 216% increase in tourist arrivals following the recent opening of the Panguil Bay Bridge. Governor Henry Oaminal Sr. highlighted this surge during the Northern Mindanao Regional Development Council (RDC) meeting in Oroquieta City. Gov. Oaminal stated that they recorded 2,119 visitors during the first weekend after the bridge’s inauguration, which is nearly three times the previous weekly average of 670.
