A cargo ship caused significant damage after rolling back uncontrollably into Kimaya Port in Jasaan, Misamis Oriental, Wednesday night, November 27, 2024. The ship, MV 1090, which was transporting vehicles to Cebu, suddenly reversed into the port, resulting in its ramp crushing an Elf Truck, damaging another fish truck and hitting a small fishing boat. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the incident. Authorities are still investigating the incident.
