Several boy and girl scouts, along with their teachers, sustained minor injuries when the Isuzu Elf truck they were riding overturned while negotiating an uphill section of the barangay road in Sibantang, Talisayan, Misamis Oriental on Friday, November 15. Initial reports revealed the truck was carrying around 50 scouts and teachers en route to a jamboree site when it struggled to climb the incline. The truck rolled backward before tipping over onto its side. Rescue units responded to the scene of the accident and administered first aid on the injured.
